I meet Mr Bowes in mid-July 2021 for treatment of narrow angles hypermetropia bilateral YAG peripheral iridotomies for both eyes. I was anxious to say the least, but Mr Bowes was very professional, kind and completely put me at ease. He has a lovely manner about him and went to great lengths to explain and also ensure that I was comfortable with the procedure he would be carrying out. I would highly recommend Mr Bowes. A few weeks after treatment I had a slight issue with ultra-sensitivity to my eyes. I emailed Mr Bowes personally and he responded immediately. I was very impressed with that. As I have said previously, very caring with an extremely kind manner and very knowledgeable. I would highly recommend him.

A caring, friendly consultant made the experience - and the treatment - a whole deal easier to bear. At the slightest return of my eye infection, I would return to Oliver without hesitation.

My two consultations and cataract operation when everything was explained fully and any questions I asked. I do not think any improvement of care is necessary in my experience.

The entire visit to the hospital was a very pleasurable experience for someone who is extremely eye phobic. Mr Bowes, Debbie, Janet and Shannon were very reassuring throughout. I have since had no problem with my eyes and I look forward to my outpatient follow up. Molly Morrell.
